215 – 235
Steel Plate Helm (14 x Steel Bar, 1 x Solid Grinding Stone) x 20

Alternatively, you could go and buy the plans for Mithril Scale Bracers from either Gharash in Stonard, Swamp of Sorrows or from Harggan in Aeries Peak, The Hinterlands. It’s a limited supply recipe, so you may have to try a few times. It works out cheaper to make these than Steel Plate Helms.

235 – 250

Mithril Coif (10 x Mithril Bar, 6 x Mageweave Cloth) x 15
If your lucky enough to get the Mithril Spurs plans, then make those till they turn grey at 275. It’s by far the cheapest way to level. Unfortunately the plans are now selling for anywhere up to 300g since TBC was released.

250 – 260
Dense Sharpening Stones (1 x Dense Stone) x 20

Whilst your grinding for the mats for the 260-265 part, keep an eye on the AH for either the Thorium Belt or Bracers plans. As these are much, much easier and cheaper to make

260 – 265
Armoursmiths make the following:
Earthforged Leggings (16 x Mithril Bar, 2 x Core of Earth) x 5

Weaponsmiths make any of the following:
Light Earthforged Blade (12 x Mithril Bar, 4 x Core of Earth) x 5
Light Emberforged Hammer (12 x Mithril Bar, 4 x Heart of Fire) x 5
Light Skyforged Axe (12 x Mithril Bar, 4 x Breath of Wind) x 5

Go see Derotain Mudsipper in Gadgetzan and give him Thorium Bars untill you get the plans for the Imperial Plate Belt, Bracers and Boots.
Should be about 50 Thorium Bars, but if you want the whole set, it’s 130 bars.

265 – 275
Imperial Plate Belt (10 x Thorium Bar, 6 x Rugged Leather) x 10

275 – 295
Imperial Plate Bracers (12 x Thorium Bar) x 20

295 – 300
