World of Warcraft hits more problems in China

It seems that WoW is constantly teetering on the razor’s edge in China, what with their silly ass-backwards censorship policies and such. I’m pretty sure if not for the massive gold spam ads on my site, it too would be blocked. Maybe if I post more gratuitous porn and extremely bloody violence I’ll make the filter. One can only dream.
China’s General Administration of Press and Publications office stopped reviewing the game and told NetEase to stop collecting subscriptions and signing up new subscribers. This whole thing doesn’t make sense seeing as how the game had already been approved and was being played in China when The9 carried the service.
It seems that the GAPP doesn’t know whether it’s coming or going but safe to say WoW will be playable again soon in China (hopefully) and haters claiming the market there is lost will look all the more foolish.
