Wrath of the Lich King World Event: The Scourge Attack Orgrimmar!
As I reported way back in the Beta, Orgrimmar has indeed been attacked! Our Warchief has called for WAR! In the Valley of Honor (where the new arena and PVP battlemasters are) there has been a massive attack by hundreds of gigantic abominations and frsot wryms! Highlord Saurfang (the dad), Thrall, Sylvanas, Garrosh Hellscream (son of Grom), and Grand Apothecary Putress along with a small army of Orgrimmar marksmen and warriors engaged in a brutal fight of truly awesome proportions a few moments ago!

What about Stormwind? How often does an attack occur, and when?
Jim, I just logged on Spooner (1.0) and took a few screenshots of Stormwind, it’s WAY too crowded there at this time but the jist is the same. Scourge attack Stormwind Harbor, King Wrynn and his buddies Bolvar/Broll/Valeera fight them off. The attacks occur pretty often, I’d say the fight lasts about 5 minutes, the reset is about another 5.
I was involved in the battles in Org, and it was epic! After word got out, and hundreds, if not a thousand players all made their way to join the fray, lag set in and framerates fell into the basement. I always love taking part in these once in a lifetime world events!
yea i was cruisin through org and some one on the trade channel was like “umm… wheres Thrall?…” someone came back with the best answer ever… “Oh.. He’s in the Valley of Honor fighting off the Scourge invasion of Org…He seems a Bit Busy try him back later” i got a good chuckle outa that one…
anyway.. is there any rewards for assisting in the fight other then awsomeness points? is their rewards like the other invasions?
how did i miss this?? are these events still goign on??
Sorry man this event was pretty much for one night only and ended the day Wrath launched.
