Just a quick update as Boubouille from MMOC got more information organized.
Armor Sets – ilvl 200 Rare
The armor used for higher quality sets (Deadly Gladiator and Hateful Gladiator) uses the same model, just like the weapons only the color will change slightly.
Arena Weapons – ilvl 213
Arena Weapons – ilvl 200 – Epic
Arena Weapons – ilvl 200 – Rare
Those headsets are AWFUL. It’s the same designs with different details and colors. :[
Most times I can’t stop finding wonderful things to say about Blizzard and their art design. But the shaman arena gear looks like shit.
im just hoping these are scrap animations for beta, stats are nice
ofc stats are nice but look are awfull, i don’t hope this are the new real skinns otherwhise> blizz what are you doing ?!
How come the ret set has no intellect….what type of drugs are bliz devs on….omg
ya those sets look like crap. One of the things that motivate some ppl to play is to get good looking sets. but with this… its like why even bother.
I have to admit I agree with you. Some of the gear looks like ass, others look amazing. Death Knight and Warriors for example look fine. Even the rogue one isn’t that bad
EPIC FAILURE
Anyone else think that the rogue looks like Shredder?
OMFG i dont how blizz thinks but all things are #/%@ up worst i have seen. go to desk again blizz and get us a new set FFS!
What is this for awful sets! I will NEVER play PvP if those sets should be available to buy for honor.
/one more disappointed WoW player
I dont really see the problem with these sets, i mean, ofc they are a little drab and a few of them are the same models with recoloured skins but blizz already stated a while back that pvp gear would be deliberately less desirable to avoid players just hardcoring BG’s for a minimum standard of gear to star raids with. players who do this also damage potential group population from not bothering to do group instances thinking they can just gear up from BG’s. dedicated pvp players (the very ones who make an effort in BG’s and dont just farm honour) will probably not be too bothered about these sets either, afterall its the playing of the game that counts, not parading round like some emo-hunter thinking you have the skillz cos your gear looks good, its about skill and entertainment, the players that realise this are the ones who care less about gear looks… if you want looks go raid tbh.
I can agree with that but I don’t think that the character’s appearance is completely brushed off by even the most hardcore PVP players. That’s why you see so many of the highest bracketed players wearing gear from 25 man raids with a little PVP gear in the mix for the resilience.
actually i really like them. they bring back the horde/alliance military style into the game. no floating gems or wobbling eyes… just plain armor.
I think the sets look fine except for the druid or shaman ones.
what can i buy the hatefull gladiator’s shanker with (is it honor) ??
