May 4th on the EU-Vek’nilash server, SK-Gaming managed to get the world first kill of M’uru, the fifth boss of Sunwell Plateau. Only Kil’jaeden remains but we’ll have to wait for the opening of the last door of the instance in a few weeks. I have to admit that it gave me the warm fuzzies to see an enhancement shaman in there tearing up the fight.
World of Raids was able to get a few words with Mekon co-gm and raid leader of SK-Gaming about the encounter:
Mekon: Without doubt the best designed encounter Blizzard have made since Naxxramas. M’uru / Entropius is the hardest non blocked fight ever made no question. It is perfectly tuned, you cannot make a single mistake and need a flawless strat. It’s a really fun and intense fight that allows all classes to play an active roll rather than sitting and spamming ![]()
I’m really not sure how many guilds are capable of killing it, the amount of dps you need is crazy and the healing is soo tight because you cant use many at all. I’m really proud of everyone in the guild and the effort they have put into this, it was well deserved. Looking forward to the race on KJ now!

Wow! They had more Shaman than any other class!
That’s awesome…puts paid to the ‘Shaman have no place in raids’ drivel I see touted so often. We have a lot that we bring to a raid.
