It does make me feel a little better knowing that the decision makers at Blizzard are still the same great gamers they were in the past. That’s the one thing I really like about Blizzard, it’s always beena company that takes their sweet time releasing content but for the most part the finished product is unparalelled.
However I don’t exactly like how they are doing this 3000 tickets thing. Reading through his apologetic post, Mike Morhaime says that they are planning on doing a lottery to sell the newly freed up 3000 spots and that more details are coming soon. See I don’t like the whole lottery part.
It’s difficult to make assumptions and judgments because for all we know now it might be a pure luck thing like my current contest only you still have to pay the $100. The upside being that I only have 1 ticket to give away while they have 3000 for sale. Hopefully the eBayers and scalpers will not catch hold of this wave of tickets and allow some of you folks to have a fighting chance.
