Baby’s First Goldseller Spam
Oh honey look! Poopie is taking his first steps – at trying to sucker money out of me. Don’t buy gold people, don’t buy kinah either. With any game (especially a new one) you’re going to get the bottom feeders trying to push their own agenda.
I’ll tell you one thing though, they might be a little successful in Aion. A lot of us playing Aion came from WoW, and as you will soon find out; everything is more “expensive” in Aion. We’re a bunch of spoiled babies because of WoW. Aion is a game where good money management is going to be very crucial to your gameplay experience. Flight paths cost kinah, teleports to different zones cost kinah, spirit healing costs kinah, professions and training skills, the list goes on.
A lot of players have been sideswiped by the illusion of cost, when you see something like a 3,400 kinah price tag to start a profession it can be a little scary. Same for 605 kinah flight paths and teleports. Don’t panic though, kinah is actually pretty damn easy to make. You get some greens you don’t need, sell them on the AH Broker. If you get quest rewards you don’t want or need, shard them and sell the stone. Gather crafting materials like crazy and sell them in bulk at the AH. Don’t spend kinah on stupid shit and don’t take multiple professions at the same time.
Kinah will always come easily over time through vendor trash, playing the AH Broker, and sometimes through Private Stores you can setup in choice locations. Don’t buy kinah, don’t buy gold, if you really want to get rid of your money that easily I’ll put up a PayPal link on this site and you can give it to me.

But seriously, when i FINALLY get my stupid game posted to me, i hope its not like WoW where 2/3 of the trade chat is frieken gold spammers…
A question, how much Kinah do you have atm Spoon, and what level are you.
I’m currently level 15 and I have about 40,000 kinah. I also did the stupid thing and got my armorsmithing, cooking, and handicrafting to about 50-60 skill level. That’s about 10k each BEING GENEROUS TO MYSELF because I probably spent 12+ for each. I also have not been playing 24/7 by any stretch of the imagination.
So if I did not do any professions at all, I’d have close to 100,000 kinah already. Think about it.

yeah I know it’s pretty fucking annoying. it’d be nice if I could keep this site online simply off donation or my own billions of dollars from when i was a male prostitute but all that goes to my harem of beautiful Nycterra clones to keep them from raping me in my sleep
Hi spoon. Just dropping in to say what’s up. I have to say I’ve really been enjoying this game (Aion) quite a bit since trying it out. I must say that looking at those screenshots of the armor you posted a while back was quite enticing for me. What I discovered soon after trying the game in Open Beta was even better: This game is actually a ton of fun, and it’s been way too long since we’ve had a *good* mmo come out that has a very heavy emphasis on world pvp.
I feel that Warhammer ended up killing off their own RVR/Siege system with the introduction of battlegrounds/scenarios. For every 20 people you scoop up into a scenario, you remove from world pvp.
Down with instanced sandbox “fair and balanced” gameplay! Where is the excitement in that?

I’m still plugging along here, playing WoW occassionally but for the most part spending my time either on Left 4 Dead or Aion making videos and tutorials etc. It’s funny as hell you popped up just now because the other day I did a quest in Icecrown with my warrior in which I ran intoa certain famous Death Knight NPC, helped me kill an elite though the name somehow escapes me
Anyway yeah Aion is a pretty solid game, now if only NCsoft would rectify their server loads and fix this whole launch debacle they’d be flawless.
I find that setting status in Friends window to invisible cut out the random gold spams.
Anyone know what the money cap for Aion is yet? Provided there is one, of course.

You should have said you were coming down to Blizzcon! Gah.. Oh well.
It sucks not being able to blog anymore. :I I also have a huge list of Aion bugs/issues/suggestions that I need someone to look at, but I’m not really sure of the best way to go about doing that. The official Aion forums are horrendous. Rumor has it, that not even the NCsoft West staff can login to them! 
Yeah they have some error in the code that doesn’t let them login with their admin accounts.
