Oh no no not at all. I regret becoming a weaponsmith because every other warrior and his mother (no pun intended) chose weaponsmithing to make the big bad 2H weapons for PVP. I mean I can spit in any direction in IF and hit 12 stormheralds with my warrior.

My vision of a warrior also has been a little narrow since I first picked up the class. Back when I knew nothing of the game I was speccing deep protection (I didn't know about builds this was like december of 04) and I've always seen my warrior as a protector type, big shield spartan kinda fighter. Was just bothered that I never had the chance to make shields until now and it isn't known yet if you MUST be an armor smith to make them.

That helped me and I don't even have a warrior! From what I could see released thus far, the mat requirements for new patterns look doable for an average Joe. The kinda Joe that won't outgear a BS pattern by the time they have the mats to craft it. It's definitely made the profession worth considering now.

Curious, are you now regretting your choice of weaponsmith because you would rather be an armorsmith?
