Yes actually what they've done is add a lot more haste rating to gear making it that people can't cheese their way with haste pot chugging. mana regens very nicely and there are many many more mana regen buffs than before. ret paladins can grantd raid wide mana regen, so can shadow priests, shaman too. mana spring and healing stream totem don't tic mana and hp but they instead pulse it out. mana also regens like energy for a rogue does with the new system, it fills gradually not just chunk... chunk... chunk.

every caster class has some kind of mana refund or "clear casting" buff now they can provide themselves too. basically what this change, and some of the drum changes with leatherworking, did was to rely LESS on people with professions and more on player skill and class abilities.

so having 5 leatherworkers minimum to spam drums in every group and then having the rest of the guild as alchemists for pots is pretty much in the past.

I was wondering if you knew what kind of impact this was making on raiding in Beta thus far? It would be great to not be required to chain pot, but did they compensate for it in talents and gear?
