We’ve got some new models for mobs and such but what’s most awesome right now would be these new images of the mounts of Northrend. The skeletal gryphons we saw in the previous Death Knight flying mount posts seem to be generic and might be obtainable for everybody. Death Knights themselves may or may not have a unique flying mount although there’s still a chance that they will have a flying mount that can only be purchased by a Death Knight. Thanks go out to Azuraji from MMOC for all the screenshots.
~Summon Polar Bear – Summons and dismisses a rideable Polar Bear. This is a very fast mount.
~Winged Steed of the Ebon Blade – Summons and dismisses a rideable skeletal gryphon mount. This mount can only be summoned in Outland and by those that have learned Cold-Weather Flying in Northrend.
~Skeletal Gryphon – Summons and dismisses a rideable skeletal gryphon mount. This mount can only be summoned in Outland and by those that have learned Cold-Weather Flying in Northrend. (0 yd, cast: 3 seconds, dur: (infinite time?), val2: 60, val3: 60)
~Swift Skeletal Gryphon – Summons and dismisses a rideable swift skeletal gryphon mount. This mount can only be summoned in Outland and by those that have learned Cold-Weather Flying in Northrend.
Worgen look absolutely wonderful this time around, the PVP bows look great and seem to be the first glimpse of Blizzard’s promised separation of PVP gear and PVE gear models.
The mammoth mounts are going to be 10 levels of badass I just hope gnomes meet the “tall enough to ride” requirement and as for the bear mounts… let me say this, riding bitch on my polar bear is going to be so freaking awesome. You folks can form a line over here and no skipping.
