New Ammo Icons in Patch 3.0.8 hinting at something?

First saw this at mmo-champion this morning (way too early mind you) and I couldn’t help but think to myself “hey, that looks like a rudamentary ammo clip or bandolier”

From left to right my guess: bandolier advanced, bandolier basic, armor piercing bullet, frost shell, exploding shell, poison arrow, frost arrow, exploding arrow, armor piercing arrow.

This just might be a very wonderful day for hunters as Blizzard has stated that they plan on doing some really cool things with ammo to make it suck less. Personally I wouldn’t mind if instead of having to buy tons of ammo all the time they flat out trashed the concept of quivers and ammo pounches and instead gave bandoliers that were equiped in the ammo slot. It would take a lot of going back through the game from level 1-80 and fixing a few things but hands down hunters would be happier. Granted engineering would officially become more of a pain in the ass since crafting bullets is a good way to level and make a little cash if you sell direct.

Another cool concept is to add different types of ammunition such as freezing arrows and bullets that cause frost damage as well as physical, flaming as well, possibly poisonous ones that add nature damage. I fail to understand how with all the majic and mayhem hunters are using imbued munitions already.
