I can’t stress enough how seriously great these heirloom items are. It’s not just the fact that they’re pretty much all of the greatest items of their time (when I was still coming up in the original Classic World of Warcraft), but also that they’re not so rediculously strong at max level that they’re worth snatching up. These items look like they’re going to serve one purpose only, and that’s to help you level from 1-70 without having to farm antequated instances for gear.
That’s the thing people don’t always realize when leveling. Getting a new blue weapon and two pieces of armor at level 16 will make a VERY big difference in how fast you kill a mob or how many you can fight before having to rest.
I’m not the fastest leveler but I try my best, and these items are only going to me make leveling alts and such less of a headache. Also I really missed my Thrash Blade, and Mara sucks.
