In For A Penny. Selserene’s dramatic work is second to none.
I wish that when she first started publishing her machinima I had the capability to post it here. The video (due to technical bullshit) is in the post below, it is one of the greatest works of machinima I’ve ever seen. Behind all the posturing and graphic venting that is Spooncraft, there’s a deep respect for lore, drama, and cinematography. The work that’s being put into this movie series is incredible. I can’t really enough good about the project because I’m pretty much enraptured by it. From the original vocals and voice acting to the noir type mood set throughout the entire film. It’s just great.
Some people won’t like it or it may just not be your cup of tea, but that’s the beauty of opinion. I suggest going to her blog and showing some support as well as downloading the high resolution versions and watching them in good ole HD. All of her work is kind of dark but that’s just my taste really. There isn’t a technical mastery of the craft like you would see in Oblith or Soosdon’s work (or the mindfuck awesome that is the mighty Dopefish) but from a visual point of view it’s stunning and more than holds its own in presentation.
