The results are in for March’s Poll.
The question was: Has your class been broken as a result of Patch 2.4? I was pretty surprised at all the QQ and the results of the poll.
39% said Yes, the patch has broken my class.
26% said No, the patch hasn’t broken my class.
35% like me were thinking Arby’s and couldn’t comment otherwise.
I severely doubt that the changes in Patch 2.4 broke any single class. I still see tons of druids, warlocks, shaman, paladins and so forth running raids and instances and in the arena and battlegrounds. If anything my survivability has gone up slightly in PVP although itemization is still lacking for my spec in PVE. The new badge loot coming soon is going to be incredible in making at least weapons available to me.
Still I can’t really argue with the majority winner. But now that we have a chance to go into it. Why is your class broken? Let’s say that I can parlay these results to Blizzard (and Arby’s) and they would look at the complaints and critiques with open eyes. What happened in patch 2.4 that specifically rendered your class unable to fulfill it’s role?

Fix the balance druid! Am I a bird?! Am I a bear?!
Why do you want me to cast but leave my only means of regaining mana up to close encounters? Melee for mana? Are you kidding me? Yes, I’ll destroy any aggro range safety I had to run up to the massive damage AOE attacks of the boss I have 200k threat on to hit him with my stick to get 100 mana back only to be creamed 10 seconds later.
This is of course not counting Invervate which is almost ALWAYS reserved for healers in the groups. “How dare you invervate yourself when there’s a paladin with 85 spirit that needs it?”
Brambles? I mean COME ON! BRAMBLES?!
Did the balance bird start as a joke and just get out of control and go horribly wrong?

I’d say that Balance druids were busted way before patch 2.4 and they got no love that patch.
As for Mark: yeah man I feel you, shaman didn’t get everything they were promised but that’s normal for us. At least I’m back at topping DPS meters.
