Spooncraft

Love him or hate him the guy is funny and the videos are entertaining. There are quite a few keynotes in his latest video (shown below) that mirror a lot of the problems with Spooncraft. Let me explain.

I’ve caught flak for the gold selling or powerleveling advertisements on this site. Those come from Google and not from me. Matter of fact me and my web guy have gone to Google and blacklisted countless sites that try to advertise here. Even some that are going out of their way to specifically target Spooncraft.com in their postings. It’s like a war of attrition because I’ll block 5 and then three days later I have the same 5 on my site again followed by a few more. So here’s the deal.

I’m not telling you to buy gold, I’m actually against buying gold in a big way. What you do with your money is your choice, ads pay for the bandwidth and barely. I literally make about $1.00 a day on this site, it’s privately owned and operated and that’s not going to change. Anything you see here comes out of pocket and that includes the Blizzcon tickets I will be giving away FOR FREE later this year when they go on sale.

I believe 100% in being blunt and honest and not giving people the run around, which is probably why I curse so much on my site. I lack the patience for politics. Thus the current poll where you decide if I share the leaked information speculation or otherwise fact on this site with you all. The arguments on both sides are pretty compelling.
