The art of Warcraft (and Blizzard games as a whole) is definitely something a step above and beyond what you would normally see in games. I was browsing the interwebs the other day and meant to post this yesterday found the main homepage for all the major Blizzard artists.

The Sons of the Storm website has a lot (if not all) the work done by these incredible artisans. Something that personally struck me was the bevy of Pandaren sketches and work from the Godfather himself, Samwise. Pretty much everything this guy does enthralls me and takes me to another place entirely. Possibly because I mirror his artistic tastes in many ways, or possibly because me and my wife have a borderline obsession with Pandas. Also, I have two daughters and the newborn pretty much acts like a Panda when we’re around -CLING- You can get more information about this whole thing (even if it is just a snippet) in the very first Blizzcast where Samwise was interviewed about his artwork and his role in forging Blizzard Entertainment.

 

I suggest you go check out the sight and read the linked Wiki. I’ll probably end up making a thread only about Pandarens in the near future since they’re pretty much one of the bigger reasons I still play the game Remember, all artwork is copyright, trademarked, licensed, and so forth by Blizzard and their respective creators.
