This is not really suprising for most of us. According to MMOGChart.com, World of Warcraft has 62.3% market share of MMOG Subscriptions, the closest competitor which is Runescape is really far behind with 6.9%, followed by Lineage 6.6% and Lineage II 6.3%.

It’s safe to assume that World of Warcraft won’t lose his dominating position this year, however upcoming games as Warhammer Online, Age of Conan and Aion might turn the tide in the world of subscription-based MMO. What do you think?
