Gargoyle does do nice burst damage, but that’s at the expense of Unholy Blight usually, which in turn hurts your Scourge Strikes. But we are messing with Unholy now to deflate its damage a little. (src)

Hunting Party now gives your critical shots a 20/30/40/50/60% chance to restore 2% mana, 10 energy, 4 rage, or 10 runic power to all member of your party. (Old version : 20/40/60/80/100% chance)

Last Resort just killed Kil’jaeden, and the world’s first - Thori’dal, the Stars’ Fury. Congratulations to Stefang for his new bow, and of course Last Resort for their kill.

Here you go folks, I’m pretty curious to see what Vallant has up his sleeve. His pea sized brain was reading a Hunter guide (I’m trying so hard to not make a Huntard joke right now) so maybe he respec’d to Beast Mastery?

To help clear up any misunderstandings here is a list of all the undocumented changes that have gone through with Patch 2.4.2
Hunter

Scare beast isn’t instant and still have its 1.5sec cast time, even if the tooltip still says “Instant” this is an intended change and the tooltip will be reverted back to 1.5 sec [...]

The horse has not only been dead for a while, but the beatings have been so sever we had to kill another one so most hunters could finish getting their cracks at it. Incoming Hortus!
There was not a change to the way Growl scales with hunter AP, the bug fix eliminated growl scaling with [...]

A while back there were some issues with hunter pets and their aggro building since a Boar’s charge ability was causing high threat and then instant casting growls right after. All the confusion aside it seems Blizzard has fixed A LOT of bugs in Patch 2.4.2

I’ve spent most of the day today testing hunter pet aggro .
First let me say that Growl and Charge interaction is not the same as it was in 2.3.3, this is being looked at separately by the developers lolwut. I’m specifically looking at the reports that other pets are not not holding aggro as well [...]
