A while back there were some issues with hunter pets and their aggro building since a Boar’s charge ability was causing high threat and then instant casting growls right after. All the confusion aside it seems Blizzard has fixed A LOT of bugs in Patch 2.4.2

Boars are having a bug occur with growl and threat generation, they’re basically super powered. Hortus posted about it recently and the class forums have also been visited, I hope this gets fixed soon as I know many hunters are going through a rough time with this bug.
