I’d say this is both bad and good for Alchemists in the expansion. You folks got a passive ability now that increases the effects of all potions/elixirs and such on yourself, but there’s a debuff now for chugging those swirling technicolor concoctions.

None of my professions have a chance to proc (though getting more Heavy Knothide from a single craft would be kind of neat… and somewhat scary) but Alchemists have been saying that their proc-rates are going down lately. It’s all basically hearsay and there are no numbers or real evidence to back up the claims, [...]

- Assassin’s Alchemist Stone has had its stats changed: 108 Attack power instead of 54 critical strike rating.
- Sorcerer’s Alchemist Stone has had its stats changed: Spell hit rating removed, it’s now 63 spell dmg/healing bonus instead.
As well they can be purchased at Exalted reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive

For starters the cost has been dramatically reduced for the alchemy trinkets I mentioned earlier. They all required 2 nether vortex’s as well as 16 of a specific primal, the cost has been reduced to only 6 primals and 2 vortex’s.
