New Poll: Do you Check your Server Forums?
June’s month long poll is done. At 202 (million) votes we have the results. I’m happy to say that (by a small margin) World PVP took the 1st place as to what PVP changes people wanted most in Wrath of the Lich King.
Good news is that they’re getting their wish. With the introduction (and finally details) of Lake Wintergrasp, it seems that mayhaps world PVP will become more common. I know people probably won’t consider this world PVP because it’s in a certian localized area, but honestly there has to be a point to world PVP because after a few cycles of dying and rezzing and dying again, TM-SS fighting just gets old.
I’d rather see an non-instanced version of Alterac Valley, and it appears that Blizzard feels the same in their iteration of Lake Wintergrasp. The new Battleground as well is coming along nicely and seems to have the same size setup of the other BGs. Check out the PVP disclosure panel from the WWI for more information.
Now a new poll is up. Just out of sheer curiosity, how often (if at all) do you check you realm’s forums. It’s always been assumed that the majority of people post and read the forums however this really isn’t the case. A lot of the time I would imagine the people that are content with the game and don’t see a reason to QQ on the official forums, are usually online actually playing or just aren’t as in deep with the game that they follow their server’s drama post by post.
So what do you do? Lurk the forums every day or just ignore that aspect comletely?

I’ve read my realm’s forums maybe once or twice, just to find out who the big guilds are. Aside from that, no need.
