This has been a long time coming actually, why would we want to participate in the lake Wintergrasp Keep Siege (because that is EXACTLY what it is supposed to be when the bugs and crap are filtered out) other than the honor and arena point rewards?

Well there’s a raid boss that opens up for 4 hours when your faction controls the Keep (wins the battle) and he is a fairly workable fight in 10 and 25-man raid versions. Right now the drops are strange and probably placeholders or bugged. He’s dropping T7 pieces or Hateful Gladiator pieces at random. This would be him.

But also now there are 2 new vendors that sell a lot of really nice items. They won’t accept gold though, the currency you use are Stone Keeper’s Shards; this is like an exact copy of the Spirit Shards you get in Terrokar dungeons if your faction controls the Bone Wastes every 6 hours.

When your faction controls wintergrasp, you get a buff across all of Northrend that allows bosses to drop the shards, and grants some passive buffs as well. You can get these shards from doing the PVP quests in Wintergrasp (killing enemy players blowing up stuff etc), and winning the battle of Wintergrasp. Here’s the loot list compiled from WOR.
