Now, it’s pretty obvious that if you’re sitting in full T6 and Sunwell gear or pushing a full Season 4 Brutal Gladiator armor set with weapons; you won’t have any trouble in Northrend and won’t be replacing anything at all until the Lv. 80 raids.

So to somewhat counteract this Blizzard is going to keep the ratings requirements for Season 4 arena gear so that it’s still something that will take time to get and as players decide they want to level over sitting at 70 and PVPing, it’ll become damn near impossible to get.

Season 4 gear rating requirement
The rating requirement on the Season 4 gear will remain. It won’t be till you’re well on your way to level 80 that you start collecting gear that is better, so we’re wanting them to remain somewhat limited in availability. (src)
