Wrath of the Lich King’s Temple of Storms Quest: The Drakkensryd

I saw this over on the Death Knight Info forums and think it’s the coolest looking quest in the game. It’s one thing to be in a siege weapon blowing shit apart, another to be ground pounding it with the infantry trying to hold ground; but when you’re leaping from dragon to dragon completely dismanteling an enemy air force, that’s just an entirely different level of badass.

Falco posted about this level 80 quest that takes place at Temple of Storms: The Drakkensryd. As you can see in the video below, the objective is to kill 10 of the dragons flying around the top of the temple. You use a harpoon to get from dragon to dragon. Reports are in that sometimes the quests bugs out and you end up falling a VERY LONG way down to your death. Either way, should be an easy fix. It’s just another example of the new direction of quests in WotLK.

Watch the video for yourself.

  1. I think were getting close to seeing that as an ability. how much fun would that be in PVP… fly up to some one on your flying mount and dive onto theirs.. OH the fun… the person that just got attacked wouldnt be completely help less… i know what i’d do if someone did that to me.. fly up and dismiss my mount… lol Slowfall/parachute cape FTW.

  2. … that sounds like a GREAT IDEA! For now sadly I can only rely on death gripping people into the aggro path of a felreaver or mountain giant

  3. lol this was taken right from the pages of god of war for playstation lol

  4. HAHA I knew I saw something like that before…. I remember that lvl.. Thats such a deliciously violent game…
