[74] Defending Wyrmrest Temple

This quest starts at Lord Afrasastrasz in the middle level of Wyrmrest Temple.  To reach him, speak with either Tariolstrasz at ground level or Torastrasza at the top of the temple.

To complete the quest, you must speak with a Wyrmrest Defender and mount it; this now becomes your “vehicle” and you gain access to its abilities rather than your own.

• Destabilize Azure Dragonshrine

While on your defender, circle the Wyrmrest Temple and kill 3 Azure Dragons and 5 Azure Drakes.  Three Flame Breaths and an Immolation should kill an Azure Dragon, while a single Flame Breath and Immolation should kill an Azure Drake.  Be sure to watch your defender’s health — there are quite a few dragons and drakes flying around that can aggro — so you’ll likely need to use Renew at least once during the quest.

Once you’ve killed the dragons, fly over to the Azure Dragonshrine to the south and use Destabilize Azure Dragonshrine while near the ground.  It only has a 50 yard range, so if you use it too high up you’ll get out of range errors.  You’ll likely have a lot of aggro from nearby dragons and drakes, so once you’ve destabilized the dragonshrine, use Blazing Speed to get away and turn in your quest.

This quest is also associated with an achievement.  If you can complete it in under 2 minutes while not grouped, you’ll unlock Rapid Defense, worth 10 achievement points.

[72] Planning for the Future

This quest starts at Trapper Mau’i at Moa’ki Harbor in Dragonblight.  This is one of three dailies available to raise reputation with The Kalu’ak, so if you’re after [Pattern: Trapper's Traveling Pack], [Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole], or [Nurtured Penguin Egg] then you’ll want to work it into your daily quest grind.

To complete the quest, you’ll need to go to nearby Snowfall Glade and capture 12 Snowfall Glade Pups.  Be wary of the nearby Wolvar as you do this quest; while you can collect the pups even if in combat, you can also kill them, so use caution in the ability choices to defeat any Wolvar that aggro.

I would personally suggest you kill any Wolvar near the pups beforehand, just in case you bump an AoE ability on accident, or target a pup with attack on.  Run up to the pups and right-click them to “collect” them.

Once you have 12 [Snowfall Glade Pups] in your inventory, return to Trapper Mau’i to receive your reward.
