Something Blizzard has said about Northrend is that they plan on making the new continent have two points of entry instead of one single bottleneck like Hellfire did in the Burning Crusade.

Basically us players will have the option to first enter Northrend and begin leveling in either the Borean Tundra or the Howling Fjord. Both zones have multiple instances in them and both run the scope of the early 70’s as their level range. There’s tons of lore in each and all the major factions are present.

So with what limited knowledge we have so far where do you think you’ll start playing in Northrend? The Tuskarr laden fields of the Borean Tundra fighting the scourge and the blue dragonflight? Or will you opt to make your way through the Howling Fjord and match wits with the Forsaken and their vigorous offensive as well as the massive Vykrul?
