Nessaja on Running Lowbies through SM
I have a story. All of you have experienced this yourself. One of the banes of any Lv. 70 is running guildies through SM, because it BEGINS like this…
Lowbie: Hey Ness, run me through SM Graveyard?
Nessaja: Can’t in AV
Lowbie: OMFG REAL QUICK
Nessaja: OK FINE
Graveyard is cleared in about 2 pulls.
Lowbie: Hey Ness
Nessaja: What
Lowbie: SM LIB PLZ!
Nessaja: …
Nessaja: fine
And so, Graveyard begot Library, Library begot Armory, Armory begot Cathedral. So we get to cathedral, and I’m running level 32s there, aggroing EVERYTHING! I explain it to them that there exists an anomaly known as AGGRO and in SM Cath there’s 454354354365436543643643643 mobs. PLEASE STAY BACK.
Lowbie: I wanna see the action
Nessaja: WHAT ACTION, THIS IS WARCRAFT, NOT JOHN MCCLANE. STAND BACK
So naturally she aggros the entire courtyard, thank GOD I’m arcane. To summarize what a bitch it is to run lowbies through SM, here is a video:

And in the end I really don’t mind doing SM. I’m making a short list of vanilla WoW instances I REFUSE to run lowbies through. Even people I LOVE, I wouldn’t run through the following:
Uldaman
Sunken Temple
BRD
Find a PUG, or GTFO. I love you!!!!

yea i know how you feel Ness… every time im on my mage and in a major city… its either a pst asking “can you port me”, “make me some food”, or “can you run me through _______”. my favorite is “youre a mage it will only take like 10 min” and im like “yea that doesnt mean i want to do it”
I do run people on occasion.. and since my mage is an enchanter.. ive come up with a pretty good system.. they can have any loot that is and upgrade for them and can actually use… the rest i keep and shard… i also get all BOE’s…
On a side note.. always ask what they want before you decide to run someone through something… i will take people who have a quest to complete or gear that has a decent drop rate… I WILL NOT take people who “need like 4 more bars of XP” or “need help getting Shadowfang (or something else)”
