Level-Up Dungeons too Easy?

I don’t mind going into a dungeon and knowing that it’s going to be a fun and easy experience that will take maybe at most 45 minutes. The break in overworld questing is always nice because it throws something new into the mix. You can stop worrying about tagging mobs or waiting for respawns or dealing with PVP or killing 50 million Mage Hunters and not getting the godamned shard or something like that; just hop into a 5-man dungeon and get just as much exp and a shot at some really nice loot and content.

Once you start hitting the heroic mode dungeons you’ll get somewhat of a challenge and then once you break into raiding things will step up another notch. This is a GREAT opportunity to hone your skills and learn to play your class all over again. Almost every encounter you face in level-up dungeons mirror a raid encounter from the past or future. I love explaining to people that the Nexus is Karazhan-lite. They then suddenly understand all the dynamics of the pulls and the behavior of the mobs.

We actually think it’s a good thing that players are running the level-up dungeons. Too often in WoW these were viewed as a distraction at best or perhaps even a waste of time from grinding on mobs or completing quests.

Let’s see what happens when more players are running heroics. They seem to be providing much more of the challenge you’re looking for. (src)
