New Leatherworking Recipes in Wrath of the Lich King Beta 8885
- Fur Lining - Stamina - “Permanently enchant bracers to increase stamina by 90. Can only be used on the leatherworker’s bracers, and doing so will cause them to become soulbound.”
- Fur Lining - Spell Damage - “Permanently enchant bracers to increase spell power by 70. Can only be used on the leatherworker’s bracers, and doing so will cause them to become soulbound.”
- Fur Lining - Fire Resist - “Permanently enchant bracers to increase your fire resistance by 60. Can only be used on the leatherworker’s bracers, and doing so will cause them to become soulbound.”
- Fur Lining - Frost Resist - “Permanently enchant bracers to increase your frost resistance by 60. Can only be used on the leatherworker’s bracers, and doing so will cause them to become soulbound.”
- Fur Lining - Shadow Resist - “Permanently enchant bracers to increase your shadow resistance by 60. Can only be used on the leatherworker’s bracers, and doing so will cause them to become soulbound.”
- Fur Lining - Nature Resist - “Permanently enchant bracers to increase your nature resistance by 60. Can only be used on the leatherworker’s bracers, and doing so will cause them to become soulbound.”
- Fur Lining - Arcane Resist - “Permanently enchant bracers to increase your arcane resistance by 60. Can only be used on the leatherworker’s bracers, and doing so will cause them to become soulbound.”

I’ve been seeing some comments left on older posts where people are a little put off by the lackluster Leatherworking changes so hopefully this is a step in the right direction. My shaman is a leatherworker so I can see soem use coming form this.

seee i hate lether working b/c of all the “only leather workers” stuff you know how hard it is to make money and its no walk in the park to raise this profession either….. blizzard drives me up a wall lol

It took me so much gold and so much time to lvl leatherworking and now I’m going to have to level it more and from this post it doesn’t even look like there’s anything to make money with so it’s going to be impossible to level it up all the way now. What a crock.

I guess perhaps I am just to easily pleased, but to me, there are some professions that are “self” professions (LW, tailoring, engineering, BS) and there are those that are intended to sell things (enchanting, inscription, alchemy, JC). As an alchemist priest I was completely envious of the tailoring priests that had the primal mooncloth set almost immediately at hitting 70. Likewise, my LW hunter was able to craft himself the Ebon Netherscale set to give himself nice gear without running half as many dungeons as the priest did to get his gear. So it’s all a trade off, either you make things to sell, or you make things for yourself.
These patches are going to be welcomed for my LWs (yes I have two at 375).
