Hello, Milune here with some good news. It’s a real easy fix for the most part. Once you update and install, and input your CD-key off the box, log in as soon as you can, then log out immediately. Now this is the tricky part: stay logged out completely for about 3-5 minutes. The reason this is a fix? It allows Blizzard’s database to update to the fact that yes, you have in fact purchased Wrath of the Lich King and are also tapping your foot impatiently.

I’d also like to point out that post Spooner made about updating your addons. You should do this as soon as you can. Addons can put out some *really* strange bugs that are only found client side. If something weird happens, first turn off your addons and try again.

And before I go logging into Lich King, there have been reports of players having invalid keys from new boxed copies. If this is what’s preventing you from logging in and joining the battle against the Lich King, give Billing a ring. You might be on hold awhile, but the GMs can’t fix this, only Billing can.
