In fact I'm cancelling my wow account for this very reason. Every week when going into voa we whipe once or so on Koralin (understandable considering I'm going in with a pug) and as soon as it happens the first thing that happens is the recount is linked and threats are made about dps. I try to defend those that are on the bottom of the recount reasoning that there is a natural dps loss when having to switch between the boss and the orbs as castors need a bit to get their dps going (whereas the melee dps is always on the top of the meter and doesn't have to switch). This of course always falls on deaf ears. This past week I myself was kicked from a raid for "low dps." 5k dps is a breeze for my warlock when raid buffed fighting say arch etc where the only thing happening is watching out for rocks. 5k aint gonna happen on koralin though because of constantly switching targets. I'm a full time student in college so I don't have time to be in an active raid guild yet still enjoyed raiding on occasion when I was able. Not anymore though. This elitist attitude has drained the fun out of the game and I have no reason to go on playing something I'm going to get kicked from everytime. I totally agree with the way things are going.
