Undocumented Class Changes for Wrath of the Lich King Beta (8962) - Death Knight
You can see the changes I outlined yesterday here. There really isn’t anything different from what was announced. Also there are new glyphs I added at the bottom.
- Blood Pressence: Description now includes “Only damage dealt to targets that grant experience or honor can trigger this heal.”
- Blood Aura: Description now includes “Only damage dealt to targets that grant experience or honor can trigger this heal.”
- Bloody Strikes revamped: Now increases the damage by 6/12/18% and the bonus damage from diseases by 20/40/60% of your Blood Strike and Heart Strike.
- Bladed Armor revamped: Now increases your Strength by 1/2/3/4/5 for every 400 armor value you have.
- Improved Rune Tap: Now increases the health provided by Rune Tap by 33/66/100% (up from 15/30/45%) and lowers its cooldown by 10 sec.
- Mark of Blood: Now heals target for 4% (up from 2%) of its maximum health. Now lasts for 20 sec (down from 30 sec).
- Blood Gorged: Now also increases your expertise by 1/2/3/4/5.
- Pestilence: Now effects all targets within 10 yard (instead of just 3).
- Abomination’s Might: Now also increases your total Strengh by 1/2%.
- Frost Presence: Now also increases total health by 10%. Now increases magic resistance by 1 per level (instead of a flat 57).
- Chill of the Grave: Now your Chains of Ice, Howling Blast, Icy Touch and Obliterate generate 2.5/5 (instead of 50/100%) additional runic power.
- Tundra Stalker: Now also increases your expertise by 1/2/3/4/5.
- Frigid Dreadplate revamped: Now enemies who hit you in melee have a 100% chance to become unsettled, decreasing their chance to hit you in melee by 2/4/6%.
- Improved Icy Talons: Now effects both group and raid. Now also increases your melee attack speed by 2% at all times.
- Death and Decay: No longer causes targets to cower in fear.
- Death Strike: “or if the Death Strike kills the target” removed.
- Ravenous Dead revamped: Now increases your total Strength 1/2/3% and the contribution your Ghouls get from your Strength and Stamina by 20/40/60%.
- Unholy Blight: No longer causes Blood Plague. Now lasts 20 sec (up from 14 sec).
- Dirge: Now also affects Obliterate. Now generates 2.5/5 (instead of 25/50%) additional runic power.
- Rage of Rivendare: Now also increases your expertise by 1/2/3/4/5.
- Will of the Necropolis: Now reduces the cooldown of your Anti-Magic Shell by -5/-10/-15 sec instead of increasing expertise.
- Ebon Plaguebringer: Now also improves your critical strike chance with weapons and spells by 1/2/3% at all times.
- Master of Ghouls: Description now includes “Unlike normal Death Knight Ghouls, your pet does not have a limited duration.”
- Raise Dead: Tooltip no longer lists duration.
- Desecration: Now lasts 12 sec (down from 20 sec).
Glyphs
- Glyph of Blood Boil - Lowers the damage of your Blood Boil by 20% but causes it to slow affected targets for 5 sec.
- Glyph of Death and Decay - Targets of your Death and Decay have a 20% chance to cower in fear for 2 sec. (Old - Your Death and Decay spell deals 10% additional damage but the cooldown is increased by 10 sec.)
- Glyph of Icy Touch - Your Icy Touch does 10% less damage but generates 10 additional runic power.
- Glyph of Frost Strike - Your Frost Strikes have a 10% chance to Freeze the target for 8 sec.
- Glyph of Rune Strike - Increases the critical strike chance of your Rune Strike by 5% but increases cost by 3 runic power. (Old - 5 Runic Power)
- Glyph of Vampiric Blood - Heals you for 3% of your total health.
- Glyph of the Ghoul - Glyph of the Ghoul - Your Ghoul receives an additional 20% of your Strength. (Old - Increases your Ghoul’s total Strength by 10%.)
- Glyph of Corpse Explosion - Any target killed by your Corpse Explosion will also explode. This effect cannot happen more than once every 6 seconds.
- Glyph of Pestilence - Increases the radius of your Pestilence effect by 5 yards.
- Glyph of Rune Tap - Your Rune Tap also heals your party for 10% of their maximum health.
- Glyph of Blood Strike - Your Blood Strike causes an additional 20% damage to snared targets.
- Glyph of Death Strike - Your Death Strike’s damage and healing increase by 2% for every 5 runic power you currently have.
