Can’t wait for The Ruby Sanctum

So currently I’m sitting at 7 of 12 bosses down in Icecrown Citadel with a staggering raid schedule of one day a week. Pretty sure when Ruby Sanctum comes out that’s being bumped up to 2 nights. MMO-Champion has managed to score some information regarding the quest line goodness framing the new raid and it’s direct tie-in to the coming Cataclysm expansion.

I’m actually more excited about this place than I ever was for Icecrown. I’ve never been a ravenous fan of the entire Arthas arc as he really wasn’t sold to me as such a righteous guy to begin with. Deathwing on the other hand is a real villain. He’s not some petulant teenager being angsty and then bringing the undead holocaust on Azeroth. No this is Deathwing, the second most insanely prime evil next to Sargeras himself in my book.

The quest notes and such are after the break. But here is my question to you. Who’s the better bad guy? Deathwing or Arthas. Leave your answer (and reason for your choice) in the comments.

Deathwing in Stormwind Cataclysm Alpha Test

The Alpha test started. We’ve already got leaks springing up here and there and since this site has pretty much moved from a daily endeavor into a hobby (real life is about as rough as you can get without me being crippled) I figure what the fuck, why not. Here’s an image of Deathwing. The biggest baddest dragon to ever exist. The aspect and pure essence of the world, the earth of Azeroth. He’s still held together by massive plates of armor bolted right into his flesh to keep all the raw energy and molten fury within. Without the plates he’s pretty much just explode. He’s about as volatile a living thing as there can be in the lore right now, and he’s pretty fucking huge.

More to come sometime this week, or next, can’t say. Back to work for me though lunch break is over.
