Some people are saying that this is active in live but if it is then it’s not working for me. I ran into some issues yesterday so I deleted my entire WTF folder and had a fresh start on the game again as far as addons and settings and the likes. I have to admit it’s breathed a little more life into my characters since everything is running somewhat smoother now.

But the ability to have macros saved is an awesome one that I hope stays true in the Wrath of the Lich King since as things stand now when you jump to a new computer, you have to rewrite all of your macros and for some people that can be a major problem. I can also see this as a really clever way of Blizzard being able to monitor macro abusing bots and the likes.

So thank you Blizzard for making the macros save to the server instead of my computer. You’re most welcome. (src)
