As you already know (hopefully by reading this site) Blizzard dramatically changed the stats required for shaman to attain attack power. Originally we worked more like warriors or druid in that 1 point of STR was equal to 2 points of attack power. Basically what this did was limit our possible itemization terribly and had us dipping into the gear that druids and rogues were using. This did not lead very well into the meaning of a hybrid class.

So now AGI grants us more attack power and STR simply adds a 1:1 point ratio so what happens with all of our original PVP and raid Tier sets? They all have strength instead of raw attack power and little to no agility at all.

MMOC got these images as one of their readers noticed the change. First the Arena Season 2, 3, and 4 sets were changed. Images after the break.

And also the Tier 4, 5, and 6 were also changed. All the strength attack power values have been rolled into the base attack power stat on the item.

If these changes come about in patch 3.0.2 then we might see a very slight drop in the strength of enhancement shaman in a raid environment where blessing of kings is in play, as well we’re going to have to resocket all our gear with AGI or straight attack power over STR.

Not a big deal honestly, but still noteworthy.
