Dare my predictions come true!? I caught a lot of flak on the general forums when I posted my “predictions” on there after writing the article, but you know the nay sayers don’t worry me, they’re just honor fodder at the end of the day.

There have been some rising suspicions and questionable evidence lately pointing to a Wrath of the Lich King beta going out sometime soon (in time for summer like I said). It only makes sense that we’d be testing this expansion over the course of 2008 so Blizzard could make an official release in the summer or spring of 2009.

This allows them to keep the focus fresh and it gives almost a solid YEAR for us to play around with the Sunwel. As well I can only imagine that before the expansion there will be the addition of the new Caverns of Time instance where we go back with Arthas himself and help cleanse the scourge.

The official site http://beta.worldofwarcraft.com is now working! It’s not so much working as it is redirecting people to http://beta.worldofwarcraft.com/game/character-copy.html. Before yesterday it was only showing a 404 error, this could mean the opening of beta signups and it wouldn’t be the first time something like this happens, the Wrath of the Lich King website was “detected” a few days before Blizzcon using the same method of putting “wrath” into the html.
