This is very much unintentional but people who can take part in the Alpha apparently can’t see the realm list for the PTRs!

Thanks for the report Elzix. It looks like accounts flagged for the Lich King Alpha can not see the realm list, this caused me quite a bit of confusion myself. We’ll look into it, but you might have to limit yourself to Northrend for this testing phase. (src)
