Water graphics working as intended.

Just a simple little post with some insight about water graphics in the World of Warcraft. Face it, everybody has hidden underwater at some point to evade opposing players who might not be able to see you. I call it the crocodile maneuver. You know how when crocodile rogues hang out under water and then jump out and 1 shot shaman drinking their mana back by the waters edge.

The water is only transparent when the land beneath it is within a certain distance from the surface. So, normally the edges of a body of water will be transparent while the middle will not. Unless it’s been specifically specified to be otherwise.

So yeah, you’re seeing it as it should be. (src)
