US/Europe servers mixed?
Stoic from Kalecgos server asked this on the general forums today, and with good reason as the actual patch note can be confusing.
PTRs have been updated with a new build (23.2 mb).
Some changes on PTR:
- You can now inspect members of the opposite faction.
- No matter where you are you can now choose if you want to play EU (PVP/PVE), US (PVP/PVE) or Korea.
- A new PTR just opened up, and it’s an arena tournament server where you can create level 70 characters and equip them with gear from the vendors, so you can fight with each other.
Is the bolded note indicative of being able to access any set of realms anywhere in the world on live, or only on the PTR?
As in, can we in America now roll on European servers, come 2.4, or can anyone from anywhere in the world access the PTR.
Neth replied shortly with a little clarification for the rest of us.
This is only in effect for testing on patch 2.4.0 and is not something being implemented for live realms or even for future patches at this point in time. (src)
