As you know from our previous continents, the zones provide a wide variety of environments to experience and we plan to continue this in Northrend. I have no doubt that you will see snow in some areas, but that doesn’t mean every zone is covered in it. (src)

This isn’t exactly breaking news, but I want to make sure that the stigma is broken by the time Wrath goes into beta. Northrend isn’t just one big block of ice, if you played through The Frozen Throne expansion for Warcraft III then you’d know already Northrend is a pretty big place, and if the videos and other press that’s been released so far is any indication; Northrend is going to be more massive than Outlands.
