This happened to me and my raid group the other day doing a badge run through Kara. We laughed pretty hard but it was still really frustrating. I wish Blizzard would test OTHER SHIT rather than ONLY the new stuff when a patch is released since there are major issues with Karazhan and Heroic Shadow Labarynth as well.

Either way this specific bug is when you are doing the chess event and you let go of your controlled piece. You can sometimes (most times) be teleported to the Menagerie where you fight Curator. It’s a long run and it sucks especially if you end up missing out on loot and badges as a result.

As well one of our members was flat out kicked off-line, relogged and was in Shattrath, then was back in Karazhan 5 minutes later by way of MAGIC.

Is this happening when you take control of a chess piece or when you release control of a piece?

We’ve identified an issue that is teleporting people to the wrong location when they initially take control of a piece and are working on a fix, I want to make sure there isn’t a secondary issue here. (src)
