So among the more less hardcore bugs and problems with Patch 2.4, mount sounds are having some issues. They gave the chocobo squwak to Hawkstriders which is nice. I have a Lv. 42 Blood elf and it was always awkward when I would press the spacebar while standing in place to hear at least a little chirp and got nothing but pure silence. At least now my little chocobo can belt it out.

What’s funny is that (yes a really bad pun) in the case of Sabertiger mounts, the cat got his tongue.

Tiger and Saber mounts don’t play their “roar” sounds. It’s a known bug and is set to be resolved in a future update. (src)
