Now this might simply be the one isolated instance of a server not really being up to par with the rest but it strikes me as odd that Blizzard would openly give such a specific reason as to why there might be a delay during maintenance and what they’re doing during said maintenance.

Every Tuesday is pretty much the same story as the one before, servers go down in the very early hours and are back up by about 1:00 PM Eastern time. Sometimes it goes a lot longer but for the most part unless there’s a patch we’re not told what’s actually going on during maintenance.

So could this be a sign that Blizzard’s begining to get the ball rolling on this expansion? With the WWI out of the way I’m eagerly anticapating the Beta release date since there really doesn’t seem to be anything else going on during the month of July to keep our appetites wet while we continue to wait for more information.
