Retribution Paladins in Wrath of the Lich King.
My very first character way back in the first month of release was a Paladin. I managed to get him to the mid 30’s before I dumped him in favor of a Warrior. Haven’t looked back until I switched to my Shaman and the rest is history.
I still have a big spot in my heart for the Paladin class as it’s still a very attractive choice for me and I imagine the countless Paladins out there. But They’ve been through hell in the past years with their role in the game. From healer, to defensive hybrid, to strong stand alone tank, to viable raid DPS; they’ve been through the ringer more than a few times. So when questions regarding the Paladin and the coming expansion come up Blizzard tries to answer.
We have mentioned in the past that we would like to improve Retribution Paladins in Wrath of the Lich King, we just don’t have a lot of specific details to release regarding this right now. We did say we plan on changing how their abilities work to share gear with warriors which will help make it easier for them to gear up though. (src)
