Thar be rumors.

Arena season 4 is not going to start on the 17th. Odds are that it will begin sometime in mid July so that people will have around 4-5 solid months before we hit the peak expected release time for the expansion pack, Wrath of the Lich King.

That is interesting, I wonder why that’s a rumored date.

Well first off, no, there’s been no announcement, and second June 17 doesn’t give us our two-week warning we’ve more or less tried to guarantee before the end of a season. So, yeah, they’re wrong and someone is spreading a bad date it seems. (src)
