Listen people, it’s just not going to happen. Matter of factly I don’t think it should happen. PVP servers are pretty much designed to be completely open worlds where if you want to attack another player you can, there are next to no restrictions because regardless of guards and the like; there is nothing aside from Shattrath city that can stop you from being ganked.

PVE servers on the other hand are controled environments where the economy is less affected by rarity of items. Farming is pretty much a risk free and easy endeavor. Try sitting on the elemental plateau on a PVP server for more than 2 minutes and you’ll see what I mean. I just don’t think it would be a fun experience going from a worry free safe zone (PVE) to the complete and utter unpredictability of a PVP server.

We are aware it’s an option if that’s what you mean, but we tend to avoid saying words like “never” as things can always change. So in these terms I guess this transfer type has been “on the table” for about 2 or so years now, but we have no plans to implement it right now. (src)
