PTR 2.4.3 Patch Notes Updated for Mages & Warlocks.

This is going to make mages and warlocks both very happy. I on the other hand would normally be bothered since I normally go purge happy whenever I see a warlock or mage, but at least this way I conserve a little more mana.

Mages

  • Frost Armor, Ice Armor, Mage Armor, and Molten Armor are no longer Magic effects and cannot be dispelled.

Warlocks

  • Curse of Shadows: This spell has been removed.
  • Curse of Elements: This spell now applies to Arcane and Shadow damage, as well as Frost and Fire.
  • Demonic Sacrifice: This ability will now interact correctly with the Spirit Guide resurrection system in battlegrounds. A sacrificed pet will not be resummoned on death, and will not prevent keeping a record of the most recently created pet.
  • Demon Skin, Demon Armor, and Fel Armor are no longer Magic effects and cannot be dispelled.
  • Health Funnel: This ability will now cancel channeling when the target pet is Banished.
  • Ritual of Summoning: The mana cost of this spell will now be properly deducted when cast.
  • Summon Felsteed is now available at level 30.

  1. BWA HA HA HA, F%#$ Hunters!

  2. MUH DISPAL SHOT IZ NOT WERK RITE!

  3. meh…where’s my 25 healthstone soul well?

  4. Aren’t there typically 2 warlocks in a 25-man raid? 25 stone wells might be a little too much hooch.

  5. No, it’s not. Cause in our raids, we had 3 warlocks and each of us spec’d into a different master healthstone (0, 1 and 2), effectively giving everyone 3 healthstones. So at 10 a pop, we’re having to recast it every 5 minutes, and for progression nights, that’s about 15 minutes of sitting around waiting.

  6. I never had that much problem with the 10 charge soulwell. But I do think that if they go to the 25 HS soulwell, that they are going to take off the requirement of a soul shard, and make it cost a reagent. Or a reagent and a soul shard. That would be on the same lines as the new mage table, right?

  7. that’s because in your guild, most of your locks that were taken had the same spec’d healthstone. =p
