Possible WotLK Collector’s Edition?

Warning: I am really freaking tired, so pardon the excess in an otherwise already excessive language normally seen on this site. God I can only imagine the level of oral defecation going on when you guys read Remember When

I think I posted stuff about this a long time ago. Ok yeah I remember, the whole baby penguin pet thing being a possible CE pet. Well that went out the shitter when I found the Baby cutesy undead frost whelp. Yeah no way that adorable looking bugger is going to be a drop.

Anyways, it’s been all over the web and it’s fairly old enough to garner some credit so might as well slither on over to the Spooner side. We got femme-fatal and avid Paladin QQ’er Paladin Schmaladin, made this image available. Here’s a quote directly from her post.

Our friend Gene works at some printing press plant thing, where he’s in charge of proofing prints of DVDs, games, posters, etc. before they get shipped out. He called and told us they got the first print of the Lich King cover box and they they got word it’s going to be pushed back four months. Although knowing Blizzard, four months means 1st Fiscal Quarter 2010, just missing Christmas. That’s my guess. Anyway, Geneboy couldn’t smuggle out a box for us so he snapped a shot with his phone and sent it to Neil who showed me.

I sincerely doubt a printing company would be privy to release dates and such but hey, I used to work as a recieving manager unloading trucks of crap for K-Mart. We would get games and movies and junk months before they were allowed to hit the shelves. Kinda how I got a Gameboy SP almost a full damn year before anybody else :)

Still if my math is any good (which it most certainly aint’) a pushback of that long would pit the expansion pack about the same scope we originally pray for when Vevendi said they’re shooting for 2nd half 2008. It’s 3:30 in the morning I’m sacking out. See you fine folks when the accursed sun decides to rise and wake my kids.
