Patch 2.4 release coming soon.
Now this is purely speculation, but I’m pretty confidant that Patch 2.4 is going to be coming out within the next two to three weeks.
The background downloader has been active for a little while now which usually means that most if not all the art assets (models and such) are good to go and the major bulk data is ready for us to receive.
Hortus has taken down the regular PTR realms so that we can focus our testing on the TTR for the upcoming Arena Tournament. This can only mean that they really aren’t too concerned with more thorough testing on what’s available to us in Patch 2.4 because it’s almost all ready to go.
In order to gather additional logging information for the Tournament Test realm we will be taking down the regular 2.4 PTRs until further notice.
We encourage everyone to check out the TTR to help us test our new hardware configurations.
You can find more information regarding the TTR and post your feedback in the Tournament Test Forum.

The only things left that I can think of at all are the M’uru and Kil’jaden fights in the Sunwell Plateau. Hopefully those won’t take too long to flesh out and properly test and tune so that we can get the patch up and live shortly. Frankly, I’m pretty pissed that they’re wasting time on the TTR basically stress testing and making sure you can log in properly instead of working on the raid instance that’s going to keep their end game players happy. The end game players with nothing left to see are the high profile people that are quitting this game causing negative vibes all around.
