Yeah it’s annoying, commentary has to be broken down into another post or else the embed goes crazy. Anyway so this here is a little bit of drama. I don’t know anybody in the guild VANQUISH at all but it seems they got some negative press when one of their members, a warrior named Serennia got on his friend’s resto-druid account (this is against the TOS genius under account sharing, watch your ass with this stuff) and claimed to have solo’d Onyxia. There’s been controversy from the begining because it’s NOT a solo kill.

I don’t give three flying fucks if there’s an add that spawns when you take too long to kill Onyxia. Solo means 1 player in the instance. That’s it. Circumstances be damned. But there was a certain arrogance that really gave me a bad vibe overall because most arrogant pricks that look to get attention any way they can, will try to validate accomplishments like this. “I solo’d Onyxia! But my hunter buddy helped keep the adds off me.”

Interestingly though, Par (a holy paladin from Kadghar US) was able to truthfully solo Onyxia. So in the end we had a video from a druid that was titled “Onyxia killed solo” and there wasn’t a kill, not even phase 3. Then there’s another druid that had help but still said “I solo’d it”. Finally we have a paladin who against all odds walks in and 1 shots Onyxia by himself. The guy chugs about 40 super mana potions and has the most freaking insane talent build I’ve seen in a long time. But hey, whatever works.

I find it EXTREMELY funny that he uses Rick Ross in his video for the music at the end. Because Rick Ross (like me) is from Miami, and is actually really good friends with my co-worker.
